Decorative Sashiko table runner kit with a classic ribbon design in the centre and a fan at each end. Sashiko is a style of sewing that originals from Japan and has become very popular and fashionable in recent times. Sashiko is a form of running stitch and this whole kit could be completed happily by a complete beginner.
The kit includes – Ivory cotton for Sashiko panels, Red Japanese foiled fabric for sashing and backing, Red Embroidery floss, Sashiko needle, wadding, ribbon ( in case you decide to use as a Wallhanging) and templates.
This table runner can be happily completed by hand without machine. The completed pictures show this in the Navy version but this red fabric has been so very popular and I have had many requests for this runner in this fabric that I hope you enjoy.
