Description
This is a kit to make 4 Sashiko Coasters in a Diamond design. The fabric for the coasters is 100% cotton and a beautiful a deep purple colour. Also in the kit is the thermalam wadding for inside and white Sashiko cotton thread to do the design in. The design is marked on to the coaster tops but the template is also included (you can use this to make more using your own stash once you have completed these). The long Sashiko needle needed to sew the design on to the top of your coasters and full instructions complete the kit. All you need to add is some ordinary sewing thread to sew the top of your coasters to the bottom and your are complete. A great kit to introduce you to the wonderful world of Sashiko, which was originally it was a form of mending farmers work wear but has now become a very popular and decorative form of sewing in the last few years.
