Description
This is a kit to make a set of 2 placemats and 2 coasters with an appliqued Japanese cherry blossom design sewn on down one side. In the kit is – cream cotton canvas for the main pieces, thermalam for the inside of the mats, bondaweb, colour cottons for applique, embroidery thread, templates and full instructions. The appliqued pieces are ironed on to the front of the mats with bondaweb and then secured in place with either machine stitching or hand stitched “blanket stitch”. The fabrics are all 100% cotton and so your mats will machine washable when finished.
