Description
This patchwork quilted cushion cover has the design of a heart made up of squares & half square triangles, it is bordered with a red floral fabric. A beautiful gift to make for a loved one or to bring some colour into your soft furnishings.
The kit includes everything you need to make the cushion cover except a reel of cotton for which I just used an ordinary white reel, of which most of us have. All the fabrics used are 100% cotton and of a beautiful quality. The wadding is a 80/20 cotton & polyester mix which is great for loft and to keep your piece looking good for years to come. It is lightweight as it is not needed for warmth just to give some definition when quilting. There is no zip to fiddle and fumble with when making this cover as it has an envelope back, making it easier to complete.
The cover makes up to be approx 18-20″ of which I filled mine with a 20″ cushion pad as I like fullness in the cushions.
