Description
Sashiko is an ancient Japanese form of mending that now a days is used more widely decoratively. There are many traditional designs and this one is based on one of those. This kit makes 4 coasters and there is also a kit to make placemats to coordinate. The kits come in 2 fabric colours – Navy and Black both sewn in white cotton
Each kit includes – marked out coaster tops, thermalam wadding, plain backing fabric, Sashiko cotton thread, Sashiko needle and template. The design is marked out in each coaster top with heat erasable pen is when you have finished sewing them you can iron them and the markings will vanish.
This is the BLACK version of the kit and makes 4 BLACK coasters
