Description
This is a kit to make a messenger bag with a Sashiko appliqued front flap that has a magnetic fastened for closure. The bag is approximately 8 1/2″ x 11″ with a strap length up to 45″ (this can be shortened when you are making if it is needed). The padded strap gives extra comfort over the shoulder making this as attractive and very useful everyday bag. Suitable for all beginners as well as the more experienced. This kit makes a great present either completed or for the recipient to complete themselves. The main body of the bag is an embroidered navy cotton with a cotton lining and an 80/20 wadding inside. The kit comes complete with all you need except a reel of cotton. Included in the kit is – main fabric, wadding, lining, magnetic fastener, 2 square metal rings, embroidery floss, plain white cotton, calico backing, needle, handmade tag button, template and instructions.
