Welcome to my new Sew With Beth website. As the title suggests my name is Beth and I am a designer of quilts, cushions, Sashiko items, bags and so much more.
I started life in the fashion industry before moving on to costumes and working with a few different theatres in their wardrobe departments helping make the costumes for the next show running. Marrying and becoming a mum put a stop to that due to the hours you have to put in, but that never stopped me designing and sewing. Now a few years on with my beautiful daughter at university I have a bit more time I can devote to building my brand. So, with over 35 years of experience here we are.
Along with the designing of the kits and patterns I also run workshops and teach classes (if you are interested in either of these there will be a contact me section further on where you can ask me questions). I have so many things in my head that I want to design and get out there that hopefully new things will be appearing all the time. I am also the owner of a long arm quilting machine that is in the process of being repositioned and once that has happened, I will be taking in quilts for quilting.
My website is brand new this August and so to start with it will not have my whole range on, but I will work hard to get it on as fast as I can. I am working on not just getting the items up but doing more photos etc, if you have any questions please contact me and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.
